The ICC went after Sudan’s President Bashir for war crimes, and yet it seems everyone is afraid of using the word “Genocide” in reference to his actions. I’m not sure what the best political move is for solving the Darfur “slaughter” (is that a better word than genocide), but it seems that we all know China, the emerging superpower, has the sway needed to start turning the situation around. But much like the capitalist countries they despise or once despised, it all comes down to money. They are too heavily invested in Sudan and Sudan knows it, and most importantly–Bashir knows it:
