A new ABC Poll, which was in the field the day after Palin’s speech, confirms that she is a very polarizing selection aimed at energizing the base. In summary, Democrats hate her, Republicans love her, and Independents aren’t quite sure. Seems identical to Bush’s 2004 numbers.
